Aux Fuel Tank

I'm new here, but have been riding all my life. Mostly Harley's. I'm getting older and it may be time for a Trike. I see some have opted for the Aux Fuel Tank (CSC) on their Honda. My question: Is it available on a Harley conversion????

No. It is not an option offered by cSc for the HD kit. Perhaps some have fashioned something but I think if it was easy to do then cSc would do it. Sorry..... Jim

Hello Larry - welcome. I too am new here.

See my earlier post about adding a CSC conversion to my Harley. I looked and also talked to CSC - they are correct, no aux tank.

When I had my Wing, I didn't have an aux tank on that either (Motortrike). Never found that it was a problem. Wife rode the trike and I had the matching 2 wheeler. Seems like we both needed gas at almost the same time.

Even on 2 wheels, my routine is usually to get gas somewhere between 125 ad 150 miles. My plan s to stay with that on the new bike. In fact, when we travel long distances, we now go about 300 - 350 miles per day; no need for us to push it any more.

What year is your bike - we are not too far apart, I am in Michigan.

BTW, if you convert, please do get the rake kit (11 deg). Will be worth it

I take trips to some very remote places and will need the extra fuel. I plan on the Trans Labrador Hwy in 2 years since it should be mostly paved by then. Also plan on going back to Alaska. Some roads will be gravel and gas can be 250 miles. No I do not care if my scooter gets dirty. I by them to ride. Although I have ridden Harley's most of my life I have owned adventure bikes in the past to get me where I wanted to go. I'm getting old enough now to get off of 2 wheels, but do not want to quite so it will be on 3 wheels in about a year. I will have to find a dealer ( hopefully near me) for my build, but I have plenty of time for that. Thanks for the reply.

I know this is an old thread. But, you might be able to do it like an old Ford F-150 (1994 is what I had) dual tank just by using a bunch of wires, switch and a second fuel pump.
