I finally found the perfect HD TG for me, bought it from fordman55 after seeing his ad in the Classified on this forum. Fell in love after one short ride around the block , felt like I had already driven it for many miles.
My first job will be to get my legs some room, I was thinking of contacting Mean City Cycle about doing some seat mods to get me moved back. Has anyone used them for seat mods? If I don't do the seat mods I will try the HD Tallboy seat. Also, a person locally told me that there was a way to move the floorboards & lower fairings forward the give more leg room, does anyone know about moving that forward? I've gotten a few tips about legroom in an earlier post, but if anyone has more info that would be great. Thanks, Tom

Congrats. You can also add Highway Pegs. That's what I did to stretch my legs out. Don't think they can go on with that lower wind thingy, but I was taking those off anyways.

I have a seat that Mean City built for me for my Ultra classic, and when I bought my TG I rode that seat on it for a couple years until I bolted on a Road Zepplin this year. They build great seats and are VERY easy to work with, They'll work with you to get it right, just call them and discuss your needs.

I removed the lowers, and replaced them with Linby Crash bars/highway pegs. About 300 bucks. Also got the Harley floor board extenders, moved them forward and out about an inch. About 80 bucks. Bought the extended break and shift levers from Kuryatkin (sp) another couple hundred. I'm not tall! 5'10"<br />

On the floorboard extenders, my husband bought some parts at the hardware store and made the extenders for my trike. He spray painted them black and they work perfectly...$4.00

Thanks for all the replies. I can't wait to make little changes to make the bike MINE. A friend recently found a pin stripper that does fantastic work and that will be one of the biggest visual changes I make.

Thanks, that was what I was hoping to hear about them. That will be one of my Monday phone calls, I want my first long ride to be as great as the first ride around the block and that means having leg room.

Thanks mate. I met 5 or 6 of your countrymen at Sturgis in 2009. We spent more than an hour talking while we were just down the road from the Crazy Horse Monument, they were great guys. One of my dreams is to try to visit your country.

I have a tall Harley seat, and need it. I've been wondering how I would fit in a Road Zepplin seat. Sounds like you're tall and it works for you. Correct?
