We will be leaving for Daytona Bike week tomorrow. I am excited although I have been banned to the back seat of my Little Pony. Eyes have not cleared from Lasik surgery yet. Been three weeks since I had it done and I am disappointed. Had Dr. appt. yesterday and he said be patient. It is common when you have both eyes done, one for far and one for near, for the distant eye to take awhile to focus. Anyway, back or front, I am a happy camper and can't wait to see how Pony performs on a long trip!! Hubby has been a dear, as he is a die hard 2 wheeler still, although he does like the Trike and drove it 2 1/2 hours one way the other day to have it serviced. Said it was lots of fun!
Should have lots of photos when we get back.
Will be gone almost 2 weeks.

The Chief (aka Earl aka DH ) left just this morning, heading for Daytona. He stays with a friend just to the west of Daytona Beach, and it's a big guy thing for them. A whole bunch of bike buddies get together there for Bike Week: they relax their hygiene standards (and pretty much all their standards) and do little else but eat, sleep, and ride. Well, I guess they get some drinking in too, though I've secured a promise from the Chief involving no more than two beers before getting on the bike.
If you see a helmetless, white-haired guy on a black Honda Shadow (yep, the Harley stayed home this time), holler at him--it might be the Chief. Though in Daytona during Bike Week, that description probably applies to about third or fourth guy you see! LOL
Most importantly, have fun and when you get back, we want pictures!
