Front shock adjustment

I BEEN HAVING A ISSUE OF A ROUGH RIDE ON THE FRONT SUSPENTION ....I TRYED TIRE PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT WITH NOT TO MUCH SUCCESS....AND THE I LOWERED THE SHOCK DOWN TO THE NEXT LEVEL....WHAT A DIFFERENCE...THE SHOCK FROM THE ROAD IS A LOT BETTER...SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE LIKE THIS BEFORE...

I also would like to lower my stallion down 1 level.

What tool did you use to drop front shock down?

They make a spanner wrench that fit those slots in the bottom of the shock, but I put a shop rag around it and used a large set of channel locks pliers. It turns pretty easy if you jack it up so the front wheel is off the ground. Hope this helps Steve

I used a wrench that works on most bikes for that adjustment....i sure can tell a difference...dave

the wrench that is used for the shocks came with my Stallion, along with the little book.

Front shock adjustment is great, but I DO NOT recommend touching the rear shocks. I did and had a heck iof a time resetting them back!!! You can read my posts on the suspension setting I posted a few months back.

I didn't stop at the first level on the front shock. I found, the lower the better ride ... now like a Lexus.

Just got around to lowering the front shock and it does make a difference. Thanks for the tip!
