Had new rear tires installed at Renegades Trike shop in Glennpool OK.
Hey All. My latest up date on my trike rebuild/ install is that the kit will be leaving Tx on Feb 26. Hoping for an April ride!!! Have wandered around this site an found the older posts although numerous, have a hugh amount of info. Coming from a Royal Enfield with side car I found the thread "turning on curves", interesteing as I went through those same tramas. Rode BSA,Triumph and Nortons in my younger days. A good friend suggested don't steer it ,aim it. seem to help. Will keep you all updated on trike progress.
So my post today is what did you do to or with your trike today???

Rode the trike to work as usual. After work dropped the trike off at a local motorcycle shop to have the cam chain adjustment and valve clearance checked & adjusted. Fluids & filters I do myself but I prefer to leave the innards to the professionals. Luckily there is a local shop that works on older bikes exclusively.
Rode about 70 miles today on mine

Not sure if I have free time or I just forgot everything I was suppose to do.
Retired and highly recommend it.
The weather is great high 60's, I rode around the area today. Not very long ride but had fun.
I had LED lights installed, one row as running lights and a parallel row as brake lights.
Will pick the trike up tomorrow.

If you don't grow up by age 60, you don't have to....
Only 48 degrees this afternoon; patted it going to and coming from a grocery run . . . won't be long until we're riding again - got a GWRRA meeting next Thursday!!
What did I do today? Started out already 350 miles from home in Wells, Maine. Rode 100 miles north with low temp at 10'F. Finally ran across snow. Did work at customer for a couple of hours. Rode 50 miles south to visit cousin for a couple of hours, then finished out the day with another 100 miles south to Portsmouth, NH for the night. It was a nice warm upper 20's for ride. Back home to LI in morning.
Holy crapola, B'bozo!! Are your bagels frozen again???

Now in the process of installing larger air bags to the rear suspension & on board air compressor. Too cool to ride, perfect for tinkering.
Plugged Snarley into the battery maintainer and told her I would ride her in a few days. Have some post-polio syndrome issues going on in my arms and shoulders the past few days. Muscle aches and weakness trumps roaring down the road on the beast.

As mentioned earlier, dropped the trike into the shop for a few adjustments. Picked it up and took the scenic route to get home. May be just in my head but the Kwaka feels more zippy. Don't know what they did in the shop but the battery barely started the trike. 2 month old battery. When I got home I put it on charge. All topped up with Zap now. Enjoyed the ride to work as always.
