Finally did it!!!!!

Went to my dealer yesterday and saw a new TG they just got in. Sat on it for 30 seconds and bought it. Nice blue one. Will get it next week and hoping the weather here warms up enough for me to get in some seat time and practice.. Been riding two wheels, but I'm sure I need to learn some new habits.

Ooooooooooooo.....you are going to have so much fun!!!! Congratulations!!!!!

Just take it slow in the beginning. Remember to turn the front wheel/handlebars in the direction you want to turn; if you try counter steering as you do on two wheels, well, we'll be hearing about you running off into the nearest ditch. Honestly, if you just deliberately put your mind to steering, it won't take you long before it feels natural to you. Take it into an empty shopping center or church parking lot and just practice turns and figure eights for a bit.

you should replace the tranny syn 3 oil with either spectro or red line syn. shockproof
gear lube. some people have had tranny bearing go out on them & plus shifting problems & noise. congrads on the great blue trike. if your not convinced just go thru this site see
the problems others have had.

Congratulations!!! In a short while I'm sure you'll agree it was the best bike decision you could have ever made. It took me three times to figure it out, and just wish I would have done it long ago.

Go slow at first (for like 5 minutes) and then once you get the hang of it let her rip. But keep it cool in the turns for a while. That's still odd to me.................I still try to lean. LOL

Congrats. At least a couple of trips around a empty parking lot to get the feel. Go slow it's really not that hard.

From the factory they come with Formula+ in the transmission and primary along with HD 360 20w50 in the engine. The only bikes HD puts syn3 from the factory in are the CVO.

All you need to the right clothing to ride. Snow, not problem, cold temps, not problem. Now you might need to take it easy in the snow, but it will go. Then give the bike a good wash.

I still lean in the turns..............I don't want the inside wheel to lift off the ground.

Maybe I should just slow down, but I did just buy the rear lift kit so I can go faster in the turns - Catch 22???

Congradulations on the new TG. Harley built a great trike for us. My 2011 has been trouble free and with the Fuel Moto stage one upgrade it's a pleasure ride, hear, and look at!
