EXCELLENT!
I will be getting involved with the PGR in my area. Already joined up.
It was a great honor to ride to Purcell, Oklahoma with the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) and others to honor our "FALLEN HERO" SSG Allen R. McKenna Jr.

Good stuff. The Patriot Guard Riders are top notch folks.
i,ve been 3 rides so far ! each time is really hard. very meaningful.hope you do more
Thanks for joining PGR. I have been a PRG member for years. I was on USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN 72) when all this started. We have suffered numerous lost service members in our area of Illinois. It has been an Honor to stand for them.
It is great to stand for the welcome home missions. Sometimes it can be just a hand full of PGR members (or in one recent mission just two of us and 12 big flags that are kept at my house), but it means the world to the returning service member and their family.
I encourage everyone to explore ways to honor and support their local service members and their families.
Thanks for your support.

Hey seahawkfan, been a PGR member for about 4 years now.
I've been a part of KIA missions, welcome homes, deployments, and WWII Honor flights. I found the deployments were the hardest emotionally for me as my son-in-law is career Army and just recently returned from Afghanistan. Tore me up to see all those YOUNG soldiers saying goodbye to their families, especially their children.BTW, got to meet one of the Medal of Honr winners last year. Quite an honor!!! Oh yeah,...I live in the western burbs of Chicago so we may have stood a flagline together
