I have been looking for options on handle bar mount and found this Mount Bar. Has any one tried this or have an opinion on it?

HEY Paul,
I haven't seen anything lately so can't steer you to any articles but a few years ago I knew a couple guys that had tons of stuff mounted up on that bar. I actually thought it was a bit over loaded so I fabricated my own mounts that take the place of both GL1800 handle bar cluster clamps. For me they work well. For others they would not. Haven't looked in a while. Does RAM Mount not make what you need? Just a thought.
If you want more info on this mount got to www.texelent.com

I'm like an old race horse..... I can still run the race -- Just ache more at the finish line and need more rest between outings.
What size is the handle bar and what are you mounting,we will be selling new mounts next week take a look at my icon later after the 26th
Paul -
I had that bar on an '04 GL1800/MotorTrike. Had an iWay 500C GPS mounted on it. Worked really well for me and I liked it a lot. It was a good, solid mounting platform with almost no vibration.
I will check it out then, I am new to the trike/bike world and just looking for different options for when I figure out what all I want mounted. I know from time to time I will want a GPS, phone, maybe a cup holder, maybe radar detector. As I only have about 500 miles under my belt right now I am not excatly sure what all I want or need.
Thanks everybody her for your assistance.
