pit bull lift

Bought a pit bull lift a couple of weeks ago, at the Daytona show.
Just got home, assembled it and lifted tri glide just fine.
But the angle iron frame is deflecting enough that the frame is sitting on the floor. Making it impossible to move with bike on it.
Anyone else have this problem?
I emailed pit bull and am waiting for a response.
:(:(

i dont have a pitbull but my floor is uneven...yes the metal does flex..if the floor is flat no problems moving it..

You will not have any problems with these lifts..

I have had my old blackjack lift since the 90's with no problems..

Be sure to brakes are off.....there are two large thumb screw like bolts in the corners opposite the handle that screw down to act as brakes to secure the lift in position. Be certain they are un screwed.

Revised: My bad, the brakes are on the handle side corners of the frame:

I've had the Pitbull Lift for about three years. I love it!!! Haven't bought the adapter for the triglide yet. Still using it and a floor jack with jack stands. Works pretty good that way. Here's a pic of my RK sitting on the Pitbull.

Checked the brake. Not the problem.
If i get aggresssive i can move the bike and lift.
But it drags and puts scratched in my epoxy floor, not good.
You can actually see the bow in the angle iron if you get down on the floor.
May just have to live with it.
Not real happy, but it doe lift the trike.

one thing I have found with this style of lift is that the center of gravity and how it rolls depends on the position of where the the trike is at when the bike is lifted..

when all the way up it rolls better than when in the first stop notch ..

Just a thought.

good Luck
