Should be for a "sticking" rear brake master cylinder, most likely. Doesn't affect a Trike much because of the new volume required by the two rear wheels. My 2010 Gold Wing Trike checked "OK", but I had a 2008 2-Wheeler that had this issue (I thought) when I sold it. The New Owner had it checked under the Honda notice...."sure enough".....

Just had mine checked Saturday, no problem here. My dearler in Chanute said they had checked out alot of Goldwing and had none be defective, they have had alot of the ST1300's have the secondary master cylinder fail but no Goldwings. Always better to be safe than sorry. Ride safe and enjoy the warmer weather. Jay A.

Took my 05 CSC to shop after receiving secondary master cylinder recall.They told me after CSC triked the bike that the secondary master cylinder was removed and no longer needed.But they inspected the trike thoroughly anyway.No problems.

3 of us took our trikes in yesterday.
My Champion was ok and the other 2 guys had CSC's which were ok except one need new front brake pads.

My 2010 GW checked OK with Motor Trike IRS. Dealer told me that Honda requested that they reveal to them if the GW had been converted.

Now I will find out what happens if there is a warrantly issue. I was hoping to keep it a secret as long as possible!!

I took mine in this past weekend, the service writer said it was suppose to be disconnected but it wasn't. I asked about an extended warranty to cover the Honda and the Motortrike kit but haven't heard back yet. I don't know whether it going to be cost effective or not, but it would cover both.

If it's true or not,
my dealer said I should have my Trike checked( it's free) just in case it was ever sold and converted back to a 2 wheeler.
Everything was ok and its now on record as being done.
