not sure about your roadhawk , but if it is like my trike try checking for a panel on the bottom of the frame , it comes out the bottom , don't forget to use a jack for room
After being trikeless for a year, my Camaro Orange, 2003 Roadhawk arrived from New York. It looks great, and fits my 6'4" frame pretty darn well.
Now for the problems. The keys were left in the ignition, and the battery was bone dry - dead - non existant. I was actually lucky that they were still in the ignition when it showed up. I crawled under the bike and found the battery, and man, was it hard to get to. Is there an access compartment for the battery under the seat or something I don't know about?
Secondly, it did not come with a manual, and I need it desperately. If anyone has a manual they would photocopy or email to me, just let me know a price, and it sure would be appreciated.
The Hawk has been on a trickle charge for 2.5 hours, and I can't wait to try to start it.
Thanks for any help if you can toss me a manual or photocopy of one.

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile.
We had a TrikeShop Runabout, the Roadhawk predecessor. We didn't get a manual, just an info sheet. Didn't need too much more, they are pretty simple vehicles. As far as the drivetain is concerned, the most helpful book was "How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive: A Manual of Step-by-Step Procedures for the Compleat Idiot" Amazon.com: How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive 19 Ed: A Manual of Step-by-Step Procedures for the Compleat Idiot (9781566913102): John Muir, Tosh Gregg, Peter Aschwanden: Books
Otherwise known as "The Idiot Book" There is a lot of extra info that isn't applicable to the RH, but it's a fun read. The parts that do apply are easy to follow, and very informative.
The TrikeShop folks are great people, we have known Dick and Helen (original TS owners) and their son Doug (he pretty much runs the Minnesota store/design studio/factory now) and they always have taken time help folks and answer questions.
The Trike Shop is the maker of Roadsmith conversions. Just click on the ad in the corner up to the right, and then click on "contact". Call or email,I'm sure you'll get the answers you need.
