"Beauty...in the eye of the beholder"

Greetings!
Long-Time-No-Post!
Sorry but here in Wisconsin we try to forget about even having
a new Trike so we don't get too depressed not being able to ride it!

We had our "New Stallion" out galloping around this afternoon on a rare 72 degree Wisconsin day! Just a beautiful day!

We made some changes that I'm sure some will like and others won't but........"beauty is in the eye of the beholder" We thought we'd share.

I put together a photo album of photos we took of the custom painting we
had done on our Stallion. When we decided on the custom painting we were told that they pretty much would paint the entire trike. We were never too crazy about the original tone of yellow so we had the color changed to the same yellow as the SSR Chevy we have.......a deeper/darker yellow.

We had a reddish/orange gradient applied to the bottom and rear with some added airbrush artwork. They also applied 3 coats of clear/coat over everything. We are thrilled with the results. Just wish the photos showed how nice it really turned out.

The photos are in my profile albums.
Blessings!
Wendy, that is beautiful work! Those flames are so subtle....well done! And the stallion heads are beautiful. You definitely have a one-of-a-kind there! You must be smiling from ear to ear

Nana is right--that's a work of art! The flames are so beautifully done--I like the realistic flame look better than the cartoonish ones you sometimes see. And the stallion head is well-done also.

I'll bet you can't wait for spring to REALLY arrive so you can get out and show off that fine-looking machine!

What a paint job, or should I say a beautiful work of art! You changed it from smiley face yellow to a great warm yellow! We love the fade job, it starts at such a great orange (they matched the hues very well) and the flames are so subtle. You definitely have a one of a kind stallion now.

I also love the stallion head's hair and muscles. Can you give the artist credit in your post? If you feel comfortable can you im me or post what a custom paint job of this caliber set you back?

This is one of the best custom paint jobs I have seen. It would be nice to have a thread dedicated to just Stallion custom paint. I would hope this would encourage our member with the flying American flag to post pictures of his.

WOW!

That is outstanding. I wish there was someone with that skill around here.

I am all GREEN LOL

You can't call that a banana now.

I've always liked the ghost fire flame. Great job, my compliments to all. You have something that will turn heads and get double--triple takes...

I don't care what you say... Great looking Stallion.
Welcome back...

So who did that beautiful paint job? So supple I almost didn't see it in the small photos. VERY nice. We should have a Trike art section .

Thanks Nana..........we are :D

Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you for all of your kind comments!
It is always such fun to share here on Stallion Trike Talk. We both
love to read the entries.......especially everyone's updates and new gadgets and accessories.

We've been inundated with emails and phone calls from family and friends wanting to see the new paint detailing on the Stallion. I made an additional album that perhaps might allow for better photo viewing at the following link (which I will be adding to as the weather gets nicer here in WI):

Simon's 2008 Stallion Album

In this album I've also included a link to the family run business where we had the Stallion painted/air-brushed. :) We are really delighted with how it turned out and the folks at CPV were just fantastic!! (Jay Wright/Custom Painted Vehicles, Inc./Franksville, WI)

Thanks all for helping us "celebrate" our NEW Stallion :)
