I have not tried any of the alarms. Just read on the GWRRA board where someone installed one on their trike. Don't remember the brand.
Just throwing this out for discussion. Has anyone tried or seen in action the Security system 'Guard Dawg'? Just wondering your thoughts on this one. It is kinda expensive.

I know..who needs an alarm on a GW trike?! But I decided to order one for peace of mind anyway. I purchased the Gorilla 7017 on ebay for $140 (instead of $180) and free shipping. It senses current, shock, and tilt. Since trikes don't tilt , I placed this sensor inside the trunk on the side of the lid. Now, if someone breaks into the trunk, the alarm sounds. It's a nice unit and does what it says. I stayed away from any units that disable the engine. I have that on my car and when the battery "died" you could not start the car at all. This Gorilla unit has the key fob and a transmitter. Maybe I'll sleep better in strange towns
This is what was on the GWRRA Board.

Actually this is not an alarm system. It is a passive 'no-start' system to deter theft. It is used on Mercedes and Lexus & Corvette. The website is https://store.digitalguarddawg.com/home.php. J&P Cycles have it a little cheaper, but it is still pretty expensive.
