There was an open house at the dealership today and I got to meet a few people that actually own other trikes. All in all it was a GREAT day!!!!!

Really feel that my decision has been made......Although it will be the Blue/Black model......

About another month and I'll be back riding.....can't wait for that!!!!!

Congrat's on your choice. My wife loves her 2012 Triglide. I had an 02 Dyna WG that came from the Dealer at Hampton Roads. I lived near Richmond, Va. for 30 years before retiring and moving to Tennessee.

THANKS!!!!! I'll have to wait about a month for it for a couple of reasons. One I am awaiting the arrival of an insurance settlement check and, two, they will have to order the blue/black model.

My better half is really excited about it as she has never been long distance on a bike of any kind. I have traveled extensively on two wheels and am looking forward to riding again. The reason for the trike is because I had back surgery not long ago and the doctor STRONGLY suggested that I go with a three wheel version as he though I might have issues holding a big dresser up at a stop light, parades, et al......

And I even have the full support of the better half as she says that I'll probably never get another chance to get the bike of my choice ever again....well, at least not in THIS lifetime anyway......

I think you are making a wise decision to go three wheels. My wife went with a Trike because of a bad knee that caused her to drop her Dyna Lowrider. She loves her Trike. I'm glad you made the decision to keep on riding. I too have a bad back and use a rider backrest. I want to stay on two wheels as long as I can. I wouldn't though if we rode two up. Ride safe!

Good choice! Come back here after you get the TG and post pics. You can also get a lot of good information to make your ride a lot more comfortable.

Love it! Used to get serious "burn butt" and "monkey butt" on long hot summer rides. I can go a lot longer distance now in comfort. A back rest is also a must.
