the original question
What makes a trike bad, fair, good or great?
And a good question. Cheetah trikes has the goods- no doubt about it and I wish you well in your endeavors.
What I'd like to see in the triking world is some individuality. Kits available in the USA as it seems to me from many thousands of Km's (ok miles) away (Oz) appear very similar.
In our local club we have many variations of trike appearance. We have a dragon one (VW trike with dragon airbrushing theme including a dragons head on top of the front guard), A Kawasaki 1300 6 cylinder trike with a Holden (GM) rear body and others.
So what makes a trike great. That's subjective. Everyones taste is different but for me its uniqueness. There are some seriously unique trikes around like the FROGMAN's silver monster, some "C" cab trikes (odd but unique and cool), some front mounted V8 trikes, rat trikes, etc. But as far as manufacture is concerned as a business there is not enough of that uniqueness in the showrooms.
Until in the trike world a "viper" or a "Countach" or even a "Daytona" comes along then we observe more of the same.
The Dutch Carver is a good sign of what I'm talking about. Just my views
