help wanted for a new winger

i have a 2005 goldwing trike with ring of fire on front rotor covers, front caliper covers that have amber lights, front fender and accents that have lights and a set of lights above each cylinder head. Now for the problem. Wires are red, black and white. Some places the white wire is hot (12V). Some places the red is hot (12V). Some places the black is hot (12V). Can anyone please help me with a diagram? Thanks for all input.

Don't understand what you need the diagram for,add-on lights or bike original wiring.If it's for the bike you can look in your service manual.
Not all companies that make add-on lights for our bikes use wiring that is color coded to the bike wiring and if someone besides you wired the lights or a previous owner,there's no telling what the lights were wired into without tracing each wire back to it's connection point.
If your reason is a problem with the lights,a multi-tester could help you to keep all positive 12 volt wiring together and all negative grounds no matter what their color is.

Sounds to me like you have a whole bunch of Kuryakyn lighting. If memory serves me correctly they use red and white at different times for different intensity but I've never ever seen black hot. Someone has the wires switched around.

First thing I'd do is trace every wire back to it source. Unless the installer ran power from an aux fuse panel or some sort of switching device I'd bet everything is connected to the aux power point under the left pocket. The amount of LEDs you talk about probably draw less then an amp of current so that AUX Power is plenty to carry the load.

If push comes to shove you may have to contact Kuryakyn tech folks and see if they will send you install instructions for each of the lights. That way you can ensure the wires are correct.
