need more power

hey guys n gals <br />
i am a new rider and a new trike owner. i just purchased a honda vtx 1300 with a motor trike conversion, love the bike but came from a suzuki m109r, which had plenty of git up n go. what can i do to get more power in the honda.

Buy a 1800 VTX. Nothing replaces displacement. Honestly I have not heard of much modifications of the 1300. Good luck it really is a good solid trike as it sits.

The Honda VTX 1300 is now considered to be Honda's entry level cruiser.Add a couple hundred pounds of trike kit to it and it will slow it down.
Don't believe there are very many performance mods available for the VTX 1300 that would even get it close to the torque and power of the M109R which is at 1783 cc's as a 2-wheel bike.That's a real big difference.
If you can't except the performance of the VTX 1300,you will most likely be trading "up"before long.

Did you say more power?? I think there was a problem breaking the pinon on the bikes, shouldn't be a problem on a trike rear... Might have a problem hanging on or keeping your underwear clean LOL
