Joined this forum hoping to get some feedback on possibly getting my
Shadow VT750 Aero triked. Been thinking about it for awhile. I currently
ride a Honda Rebel 250. Love it for around town. Would like to hit the
hwy on the Shadow.

Welcome from SE TN. I'm sure someone will come along and give you some hints on triking your bike.
Hello Shadowrider, welcome to the triketalk forum where you will find the friendliest and most knowledgeable people on the internet. Although I cannot answer your specific question, I'm sure many of our friends on the forum will sing out. Enjoy.....

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome. I am getting excited about triking my bike, hope
to do it soon, sure do need to get another motorcycle sold though, to finance this.
In the meantime, all information I can gather from you will help me in making the right
choices. Would love to be out there right now riding a trike.
Welcome Shadowrider! Glad you joined us.I don't mean to be dicourageing, but I think on the 750 you will be underpowered.I like the 750 and I like the Rebel.Maybe Skuuter will have a comment I think MITZIE rode a 750 trike for awhile.I like your part of the country.Nothing like eating at Buckner's.RIDE SAFE
Lucky, your opinion is just what I am looking for. I do have a 1997 Low Rider that is very
beautiful, but not sure if it would be worth triking. Has only 13,000 miles on it and looks sharp, and there is not anything wrong with it, just too big and heavy for me to handle.
Yea, Buckner's a very popular place around here. Been there myself a few times.
Thanks for the welcome.
WELCOME to TRIKE TALK....Yep, my Wife Mitzie had a 750 Aero Motor Trike. Motor Trike only sells the 750 as an "Already Built Unit." She has a VTX1300 Motor Trike now...it can be bought seperate from the Bike.....
..if it has WHEELS, I'm in...ThumbUp
750 is the min of a bike to trike. Would be good as a single light weight person, mainly an in town trike, Good for 50 to 60 mph riding . I would not spend $8,000 to trike a bike worth less than that. OMHO you say you have a Low Rider. That would be a MUCH better choice. Look what Little Nana is riding.
John, thanks for the reply. I think that the low rider would make a good looking trike!
It is black with a lot of chrome. I just don't know if it being a1998 (not a 97 as I first posted) would be a wise choice. I am thinking about it though.
The real question should be how long do you really think you will own it. If you can safely say for several years then it might be worth it. If only a couple then you will not get your money out of it.

Gorilla, thanks for making me think seriously about this. Think the best way to go is
to sell both bikes, as has been suggested too, then start looking for a good used trike.
Thanks everyone for your answers and thoughts. Such a nice, wonderful group here.
Glad I found this forum.
