Those sound like fun -- especially for campfire cooking!
1) serving
2 Large eggs
1Table spoon of cheese ( I use more )
1 tablespoon of each ingredient you like ( bacon, onion, ham, etc.)
1 Zip lock bag ( good quality, GLAD work well )
Write name on bag if multi omelets are being made so you can find yours later
Crack 2 eggs in a bag and squish them (kids love this part) me too.
Add your choice of ingredients, squish again (not necessary but why not)
Leave top 1/2 un zipped and expel all the air out of the bag .
Bring a large pot of water to a boil (very large pot if multi omelets )
Drop bags in boiling water.
You can do 5 or 6 at a time.
Let sit in boiling water for 6min.
Open bag and empty bag on a plate.
Great for camping over an open fire breakfast.
Fun with a group. Put names on bags put out eggs and bowls of ingredients and everyone makes their own.
Kids can even do it.

Man, sounds great John!
I can see the TT cookbook on the horizion!
Hey, what happened to the TT Calendar?
Inquiring minds want to know!!
"Beer is Proof that God loves us and wants us to have a good time."
Well 1st we need people to submit suitable pictures . Then I have to check on a vendor. There is a place here in town that makes calendars . Got to be made cheap enough under $10.00. So what do u think we should get people to submit photos. I want people in them too.
TT Cook Book sound like a great idea! We could have the camper section .

I have made the same thing only cooked it in a microwave oven. You leave the bag open a little and place it where it won't tip over and it will cook real fast.
The boiling water sounds neat also.
Okie
Tulsa, Ok
Only because you can do it anyplace that you can boil water.
My son made these for us when we were up around Boston. He used one of those large stock pots and each zip-lock bag he fastened it to a twig with clothes pins and suspended them in the pot. I'll tell you they were great.
Used to do that for breakfast when camping in the Scouts. If I remember, there was also a recipie of potato, hamburger, onion, salt & pepper wrapped in aluminum foil and set in the campfire coals. S'mores for dessert, of course.

If you take a cat......
A CAT !!! THAT WAS FUNNY!!!:yay:
Duh!! I don't get it u mean unless if you take the CAT out of the BAG first <LOL>
I like cats, deep fried  just like chicken.
Just kidding, all you cat people out there. I really don't like cats, but they seem to love me. If there is a cat within a mile of me, it will be there wanting it's ears and back scratched!!!! For that reason I would not harm a hair on their bodies.
