Do any of you MVR veterans have a pretrip checklist? It would be a huge help to us ride newbies! Thanks in advance!

Scott,
We don't have one, but I'll bet we can compile a doozy from our members!
Here's my input:

1. Rain suits (Pack last, on top of everything else, to get to 'em quickly)
2. Meds, if applicable (Include bandaids, antiseptic cream, sunscreen, sunburn cream, and list of meds stored somewhere on the trike, just in case)
3. Tee shirts, at least four (You'll be doing laundry somewhere if you're gone longer than a week, so take a roll of quarters)
4. Jeans or shorts or both, one pair for every two or three days
5. Tool kit for trike (Guys, help me out here with details)
6. Tire inflator
7. Extra pair of boots or shoes, extra pair of gloves (in case of rain - nothing worse than wet feet unless it's wet hands)
8. Socks & underwear (one a day, one extra pair in case of rain)
9. Printout of route, with MV contact numbers (give one copy to someone at home, one copy in luggage)
10.
Motel confirmation and meal tickets for Saturday night.

Okay, folks - add to this for our travelers who don't take 'big trips' often!!!
Did we mention sunscreen? Actually, BG's list is pretty comprehensive.

The only additional thing I can see is a full can of Plexus and a couple of soft microfiber cloths. I also carry an old hand towel in a ziplock bag. When we stop for the evening, I soak it in hot water and gently wipe all the bug guts off my fenders........ I hate the yellow stain they leave if I let them bake on there!

Oh yes.... bring lots of tall tales to share, a warm smile, and hugs and handshakes enough to pass around to 200-300 wonderful people! See you soon!

For those of you that aren't opposed to outdoor plumbin, throw in some terlet paper.

Some people will never get what you are saying... It's best to just walk away before the storm! ThumbUp
List looks pretty complete....I also have a plug-in wired to my Battery on the Gold Wing Trike that plugs to a portable air compressor....."pretty handy" sometimes.....
..if it has WHEELS, I'm in...ThumbUp
how about a camera "to catch those special moments" -for blackmail at a later date!!
Good one, Tip!! Mine's always dangling off my right wrist, so I can't forget it!!
dont forget the cell phone
If you Google motorcycle packing list you will get several sites that you can create lists.
REMEMBER...!!! NC, TN, WV, among a few other states you might ride into and through, are mandatory helmet law states, so if you're a believer in freedom of choice and typically ride without a helmet, be sure to pack a DOT approved helmet before you leave home.

We'll be adding a sweatshirt, It's June, but it is in the mountains. We each keep a windproof pullover in the trike, and we will be bringing our light jackets, and packing the liners.
We are staying at the campground, so there is all that camping stuff, but we generally keep all that in the Bunkhouse anyway.
Don't forget extra batteries for camera, and power cords for those rechargeables like the phone.

We never leave home without
1. a computer or two tucked away in the trunk.
2. lip balm
