just bought a new honda pilot and had them (the dealer) put on the tow package, just bought a new aluma trailer to tow my bike. picked up the trailer, loaded the bike and drove home. this is my first time pulling a trailer, so here's my question.
when i hit a sharp ridge in the road, like the beginning of a bridge there is quite a large "thunk" no other bumps, grooves, etc. make this sound. so is this normal, like the ball in the hitch thunking or the sound of the hitch in the channel.
got any ideas. other than that it is a silent, smooth pull.
