thanks for the web site linked it to my iphone
Thought I'd pass this website along : iTravel.mobi - Interstate Highway Travel Guide. It lists US Interstate Rest Stops as well as info on what is nearby (gas, food, lodging, etc.)
Great little tool when you sit down with a paper map to plan a trip.

Looked at it real quick and copied the link straight to my phone. Think I even saw something listing radar traps for future viewing pleasure. Good find, Calman.
Wow, what an invaluable website! Thanks for this!!

Good info. When we travel cross country we use a book ( I know that's the old style) called "The Next Exit". It shows every Interstate exit in the country and lists every motel, restaurant and gas station and some stores at each one. Also list the rest area along the route and their amenities. We got ours at the Flying J truck stop. About $15. Reminds me we need to get a new one before July for our trip to KY. This trip will be with our truck and trailer as we bring a car with us and our 2 Grandaughters.
We also use "The Next Exit", especially when pulling our travel trailer. Its invaluable to us because its lists fuel stops with diesel and whether a station has access for trailers. I'm not so sure of its value on a motorcycle trip, because we tend to travel off the interstates and the book only covers interstate routes.
