Well made it to Townsend in the Smokies, our Stop through Monday, then over to Maggie Valley on Tuesday.....only hit one slight rain shower outside Crossville, Tn...rest of the time the sky has been like in this "outside Lenoir City" Gas Stop Pic.....



I think this is where the Post Card is supposed to say...."Having a Great Time, Wish You Were Here".....Lookin' forward to seein' Everyone soon.....

Townsend is "roughly" 75 miles from Maggie Valley usin' Little River Road, 441 thru the Smokies Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway....Really Great, Scenic Ride.......Mitzie will "probably" ride on the back of the Gold Wing Trike and shoot Pics on the Group Ride.....on "FRIDAY".....

I left Fort Worth, Texas on Thursday, June 14. I was taking my time and in no rush. I stayed over in West Monroe, La. There were lighting and Thunderstorms coming from Vicsksburg, MS. Since it was late in the day I just stopped.

The next day I made it 40 miles outside of Alabama. Stayed overnight and left in the morning to Austell Georgia to visit my daughters, and grandson.

I'll being staying there until Monday. Heading for Richmond on Moday, Maryland and New York on Tuesday. Stay in NY until Thursday morning. Then leave for MV, NC. Should reach between 6 and 7pm.

Was near the Dragon this weekend. Mornings were cool but quickly came to temp. A few late day pop up storms and a few mysterious looking dark clouds that dissipated very quickly. Bring a light jacket for the night air....

I was in Mt. Airy a couple years ago. It is a really neat town and alot to see. I plan to go back again.
