I would recommend the H-D Fatshotz slip ons. Great mellow sound and not offensive.
I had SE Touring slip ons on my 03 Ultra-they're a little quieter.
I have the 4" SE mufflers on mine and they are quiet. They make just enough noise for me. When you twist the grip they will bark. To me they have a nice deep rumble.
4" supertrapp stouts are a real nice muffler for the trike ..
I'm looking for something louder than whats the stock set-up. Just to quiet for me !
My wife has the SE pipes on her '04 Fatboy/Lehman and likes them. Louder than stock but not obnoxious. She likes them.
If your still running the factory head pipe with the catalytic converter you could perk up the exhaust note with the Screamin Eagle Thunder Street Performance slip ons PN 65115-10. These mufflers are the exact mufflers Harley used to sell up until late 2005, off the top of my head I believe the old PN was 65115-98b. At the time they were labeled for off road use only. Now with the introduction of the catalytic converter HD was able to bring them back for use on 2010 and later touring, they are 50 state legal with the 2010 and later exhaust.
If you remove the catalytic converter or install a Fuel Moto Jackpot head pipe or one of Fullsac's pipes they will be much louder, I believe they were right around 93db with a non catalytic converter head pipe.

Red Ultra Powered By Head-Quarters 120, Easy Clutch Pull By ClutchWIZ. 2012 GL1800 Hannigan. I've yet to ride a stock Harley which wasn't in need of a mechanical intervention.
The H-D Fatshotz(made by Supertrap) are a little louder then stock, but mellower. No where near as loud as Rhineharts.
Cruising down the highway they sound like what a motorcycle should sound like......in my opinion
Someone from the AMA came to our HOG meeting last month and had a sound meter with him. He checked all the bikes that wanted a check up. Mine was under the limit so I feel OK riding anywhere in the country and not worrying if I'll get ticketed.

Hey Delta, post a pic of the rear of your TG with the Fatshotz?
Here you go Skeet,
These are the Fatshotz but I installed the closed end caps and added extra discs to mine. It was a kit I purchased from Supertrapp. The medallions were added to cover the holes made when my old bike was dyno'd. They had to drill holes in the end caps for the sniffer. I like the end caps, keeps the noise down, my ears can't take too much any more.
How large is the diameter of the Fatshotz?. Do they drag the ground going out driveways etc.?
I don't have the diameter at the moment. Before I put the lift kit on, I would drag the pipes on very steep driveways.
Delta, those look great, look mean!
