Ozark, that is a great story! And I'm not tellin' what my name tag says .
I love the way this site feels....really like a family!
Ok - this site is a bit more than a year old, and we have 1622 members as of this post.:clan: Hardly a day goes by that we don't have a new member introduce themself. I just can't hardly keep up any more! So from now on, every one wear thier name tag! And please, no joke names like Ben and Ileen Dover. This is serious stuff here.
Actually, this past Saturday we went riding and ran into another couple on a trike. Got talking about message boards, they said they had just found a trike board that was really good. They said the BTW board seemed to be mostly VW and home made trikes, TRI was hard to use, both were club sites, and most of the others they found didn't have much on them. The board they found had all kinds of trikes and trikers, was really friendly and helpful. It is called "talking trike" or something. Yep, they did mean TrikeTalk, com. Encouraged them to sign up, but if they wanted to lurk that was fine too, no pressure.
Seems this site is becoming the trike site on the web.:wtg:

I agree with all of you. And yes, Nana this site does feel like family. I know everyone here has helped me keep my spirits up. And once I am mobile again I will do my best to attend the annual trike talk rallies.
I get up each day looking forward to coming on this site. You ( people on this site ) have helped me thru a tough transition even if most don't know what they have done to do this. I wake up every morning and come on here even before my first cup of coffee. My typing sometimes shows that, SORRY. I am going to miss this once i get my life back on tract
<scratches head> Did I ever introduce myself? and... What the heck is a reksul anyway?

Who are you people and what are you doing in my living room anyway..? It is catching on pretty quick. I tell people at all the Goldwing rallies we go to. Diane and I even wore our Trike Talk t-shirts to the State rally a couple of weeks ago. (Gotta look good) !!

You know, I was just thinking the same thing a day or so ago--so many people signing up and introducing themselves. Isn't it great?!
BTW, if I wear a nametag, it's going to have somebody else's name on it--just in case I accidentally (on purpose) do something I shouldn't....

HMMMM that is why I stayed in the military for 28 yrs!!!! They gave me a name tag so my wife would know what to call me
We are lucky on here we have a great bunch of people who all love trikes and don't mind sharing their knowledge....
And we have Nana to baby sit us and keep everyone in line and shoot the ones that are bad :machinegun:
Keep up the great post, I log on several times a day just to see what is going on.....

Your right,THIS is the best site, when ever i'm asked about trikes on the road,i refer em to this site to get a honest and tried answers, When i connived my kid into a Carver, i suggested this site, and he was warmly welcomed. That says alot to the caliber of Trikers on this site:yes: I have tried all other sites and none come close. Many thanks to the Admin and the trikers that venture into this domain

I came onto this site very early on. I have not looked back and have conversed with many of you. I STILL love the fun and banter which can sometimes land me and others in hot water from the "redheaded one" Only jokin' Nana
I continue to look forward to the next and forthcoming years. Hopefully I may get to meet a few of you in September in the Florida area.
