does anyone know if the flashing stoplights were a MT item on vtx1300 trikes w/LED's or are they another aftermarket add-on? I'm thinkging my turn signal prblm is related somehow.

Guessing - but I bet it's aftermarket. I don't think most manufacturers use the flashing brakelights so I wouild be looking for the control box for the flashing lights. Probably buried somewhere.

I had upgraded the break lights on my previous Valkyrie MotorTrike to their new LED version. The flashing is integrated in the circuitry of the break light itself. I'd assume that MotorTrike does the same for all of their models. Give them a call to know for sure!

My 09 Shadow trike came from the Troup factory with flashing brake lights. I have an e-mail into them about replacing my left light before I go for vehicle inspection this month.

Yep, my kit came with the flashing brake lights... mine is a VTX1800c and I believe it's the same kit.
