RIDING 2 up pulling a loaded 500 lb trailer doing 70 MPH 32 MPG
DFT. trike conversion uses original GW gearing and rear end, very light aluminum construction.
My trike (Subaru ea 82 fuel injected) will average 35 mpg in most conditions
GW 1800 / Roadsmith - two up 35-36 mpg with some hills and some curves.

GL 1800 / Roadsmith / Caliente Red
just bought mine did 30 give or take bring home 300 plus miles
meredog,
I also bought the Blue Lightning plugs at Wing Ding, after the "snake oil"type pitch by the maker of these plugs,my friend and I decided to try them.
Besides had some money left over and just couldn't take any left-over money home wth me.hehe
I believe the plugs have maybe increased mpg by 3-5 mpg.I have been checking mpg since I installed them and have not dropped below 31 mpg. It's a little better if I behave myself and don't push it because I'm having to much fun on this thing and it's mpg vs.having fun and I guess I'm at 25/75 % on that.
I was getting about 28mph before.
By the way I was at your booth 2-3 times to meet you and didn't mind at all talking to that pretty young lady that was manning the booth while you were gone buying chrome.
My standard poodle would not fit in the dog hauler,so I couldn't spend my extra money with you.
I don't ever get to go anywhere. So mine is a local run about and I caint keep from gassing on it. So 20 to 22 MPG.
2010 FLXXX and 2010 Lehman Storm...
Have no idea and don't really care....it's about the ride for us.
Stan and Deb
I have a Road King with a Frankenstein conversion. Granted the engine is high performance but riding in the North Georgia Mountains I'm getting 21 miles per gallon. Don't know what I would get on the open highway straight and level. I want to drop two teeth on my transmission sprocket but I think my millage will be even worse. And You Say?
Riding 07 Yamaha Venture, with hannigan kit, average 30-31mpg with two up
My Vtx 1800 rocks between 27--31 ----Price of cheap gas is right around one of nex next curves so i will keep riding till i get there

Just finished installing a Champion Trike kit on my 1800 Wing. The first tank I got 35 MPG. I was getting 38/40 on 2 wheels. Same roads and speeds. I read that the trike would get about 10% less milage. So far that was right on. Be safe and enjoy the ride. Larry

I get 25mpg in the city and 30 or so mpg on the highway with my VW trike.
2009 Gold Wing with MT IRS kit, since I got it, my over all average has been 31.5. We have made 2 trips to Ruidoso NM, (in the mountains), up there I get 36 to 38, because of the speed, I guess. Best I have got up there is 38.5 but most of the time around here its around 32 because I do a lot of slow town riding. Last week I did a 75 mile stretch from Roswell to Tatum NM across the desert, top speed about 95 maybe just a little more and lots of slow down and speed up to pass cars and bikes, I got 30 MPG through that stretch, riding 2 up. We ride 2 up 99.9 % of the time. I keep very good records, always have on all my vehicles, these numbers are very accurate.
2009 Honda Gold Wing Motor Trike Adventure Kit
Riding 2 up. The wife and I just got bck from a 1300 mile 4 day ride. I get about 35 MPG when not on the highway. On the highway going between 70 and 80 my millage drops down to about 32 to 33 MPG. Be safe and enjoy the ride. Larry

My Bonn trike gives me a consistent 25MPG with or without trailer, running twin cadron carbs.
My 1915 vw gets right at 25 mpg when I am behaving. Closer to 20 when I'm hitting the throttle harder.
