dealer put in synthetic oil in the motor at the 1000 mile service. Made the top end noise worse. Can I just drain oil, replace filter, and go back to Dino oil? Or do I need to scavenge out every drop of the syn? Thanks

Synthetic oil is made from crude oil, too, so they blend nicely, Jimdog. I'm switching (our TG) from that over priced Syn 3 to Mobil 1 as we had great luck for the last 60,000 miles on our Ultra.

Absolutely. You can switch back and forth every month if you want to.
Just make sure you change filters also - at recommended intervals.
Personnally I will never use dino oil - unless there is some reason I have to.
Earplugs.......Leave the syn in.
mix em 1/2 and 1/2----why force yourself into choosing one over the other
Remember--It is never the issue but rather how we react to the issue is the issue.
