Question for BMW trike owners

How is the BMW for foot position for tall riders? I'm six-foot-five and find Harley's are fine but Goldwings just don't have enough room. I don't have any way to check out a BMW near where I live, so I thought I'd ask.
Thanks!

Contact Jim at Nick's BMW in DePere WI. He may have a direction for you on one of his clients with a BMW trike. You can also post a thread on the BMW K1200 forum to elicit contact from a BMW trike owner possibly in or near your area.

The K1200LT trike does seem (IMO) to have more cockpit area and leg room than the GL1800 does. However, seating/operating position along with definitions of "comfortable" stance are way to individually subjective to take my or anyone else's advice or opinion.

All the best in your quest and hope it works out successfully.

I can't help you on this....not just yet. Our kit has been ordered but the trike won't be finished until late September. I've owned the LT since 2000 and now it is getting a makeover including the trike kit. I think it will have plenty of room as the cockpit does not change. I'm 6'4" with 34" inseam by the way.

I have a BMW 1200LT with Hannigan conversion. I am 6' 2" w/34" inseam and the trike has a great riding position for me. I am having to give up my trike because of health reasons, but assure you that it is a great ride and the most comfortable. Another consideration is that the Hannigan is a lot wider than other trikes.

I have a 2000 bmw/hannigan trike with the weight bearing floorboards. I removed the rider pegs and lowered the brake pedal. (read the manual before doing this) the shifter was fine as is. It is a very comfortable position now.
