Davis Rally coming up

Thought I'd bump this up as it is just a week or so away. I'll be there representing wearing my Trike Talk and TT Rally V shirts. anyone else planning to attend? Hope to see a few folks there.

Was going through the calender and noticed that it is just a few weeks to our yearly trip to Minnesota to see family and friends, and hit the Davis Rally in New Hampton, Iowa.

This is a great rally, lots of vendors, usually around 3000 or more people show and it is well run by the Davis family. This will be the 34th annual edition. If you are in the area it is a great time with a lot of good folks attending. This will be our 15th, and we have never left the rally without having a great time and some new friends.

As usual, we will be heading there on Wednesday, and setting up camp over the horseshoe pits, as our group has done for the last 15 years. If you are going and aren't with a group you are more than welcome to camp with us. Hope to see some of y'all there!

Another great time at the Davis Rally. Attendance seemed to be down a bit , the area behind us by Shelter #3 next to the wooden playground is usually packed, but had only a few campers this year. Our group camps over the horseshoe pits, and it is a good place to see all the bikes and trikes going by.

First attended in 1994, and there were a few trikes over on "Trikers Row" accross from the swimming pool by the ball field. There were maybe a dozen VW based trikes and a few Lehman conversions (very unusual at that time). Now it seems that about 1/4 of the rides at the rally were trikes.

Interesting, I will be at another ride-in based out of Eureka Springs from Sept. 24-28.

I am wondering if your ride-in isn't connected in some way with BB&BBQ. Seems every thing in the general area that week is somehow in with the rally in Fayetteville.

We are not connected with BB&BBQ. We are ten motorcycles affiliated with the Venturers forum. Tried to rally interest from folks to take a ride to Fayetteville on 9/28. I would like to check out this event.

Davis Rally is great. We've going since 1990 and haven't missed a year.
Always the weekend after Labor Day.
