Do any of you know what Motor Trike uses for shock absorbers? Do they keep the factory shock or throw it out? The factory hydrolic preload adjustment is gone.

They used Progressives on my VTX and the size is different than stock...If you have a Wing, I can't help ya.
I have a GW 1500se CA trike and I sent my 412 progressive back to the factory
for a rebuild they raid great. they have 5 settings and I put mine on 4.

Base on the thread subject I suspect you have a Motor Trike Adventure (IRS) conversion.
The stock preloaded suspension is gone. You have coil over shocks on both sides and air ride on both side. Go here to see photo... http://www.motortrike.com/docs/IRS.jpg
