For those coming to Eureka Springs in June, there are several online sites sponsored by Arkansas Tourism. Here's one: Motorcycle road trips - Arkansas motorcycle trips
Getting to Eureka is as much fun as being here. From Interstate 40, there are at least five scenic two lane highways leading north (65, 7, 23 (pig trail), 21, 71 and interstate 540. Crossing east/west between all these highways are 16, 412, 12 and 62. Plenty of gas stations and cafe's on all routes except 16 (very remote but a great ride).
If you are coming down through Missouri, there are some great rides but I'm not familiar with them.
I'm not sure if there are any scheduled rides during the rally so feel free to contact me by email with any questions.
As for Do's and Don'ts, Eureka loves bikers and trikers, especially those who take time to shop around. Lot's of great restaurants from "bar and grill" to high end menus. There is a great trolley system which is a good way to see the sights. Parking can be trickey but not impossible.
Thanks for the tips and recommendations! We do have some members who are getting ride routes together for the rally. The ride schedules will be posted as soon as they are finalized. We are all looking forward to getting together this June!
Finding great rides from Eureka Springs (simplified):
Set a waypoint of your (or someone you're riding with) GPS to the location at which you are staying. Name this "Start", "Hotel" or something similar.
Pick a direction and ride. Choose interesting looking roads on a whim.
When it is time to go back, choose starting waypoint to get back to Start/Hotel/etc.

More tips! Yay! Our ride organizers appreciate any suggestions that may help in the route planning.
Just found this thread, with 18 pages to peruse.
Are there any rooms left at the Best Western? Can try camping if the rig will be ready.
Am liking the time frame as I like the idea of missing weekend traffic. 1762 km for us down, so it will be our longest trip via trike to date.
16-17 hours driving time will need to stop on the way down any suggestions?
Should be a hoot.
Now to go back and read the other 15 pages.

Hi Blackwillow. Just call the number of the hotel, tell them you are with the Trike Talk group and they should be able to set you right up. I believe there are still some rooms available .

I'd sure like to go, but many miles from FL and $90/night special rate? Think I'll wait until another rally in Maggie Valley, or else where.
Just made reservation,we will be there.

Remember--It is never the issue but rather how we react to the issue is the issue.

Did somebody say "shine? Over here in my neck of the woods they call that apple pie.lol
I've always wanted to try moonshine, unless of course, it will make me go blind.

If you are a TOI coordinator and want to organize a ride to the rally, or if you are member and wish to ride with fellow TOI members, a new blog had been posted on the rally website (members corner) so ride plans can be shared.
You can post what ride schedules you already have or what ride you want to plan.
