Lifting up a trike

I have a 98 Goldwing with a Lehman GTL kit .Has anybody changed the rear tires and how did you jack it up.
I've tired a floor jack,no room to get the jack under.Trike is to low to the ground.What I need to do is change a light bulb.There is no room between the tire and the fender.
Any ideas?Dang,I don't want to pay a dealer $100.00 or more to change a light bulb.

Maybe one of those scissor jacks from a car would do the trick. They have a lower profile than a floor jack.

drive up on 2"x 8" boards and the jack should fit under OK. I use a 1" x whatever in front of the 2"x to get a step up so the tires don't push the higher board out of the way.

I had a similar problem, got a motorcycle jack from Harbor Freight. It works great on the rear and when changing oil. Jack was $89, one of my best investments....

I slide a car scissors jack under the axle from the side , just in front of the wheel that I want to remove.

The stock GM jack for an 80's era corvette is what you need to find. I had an extra one from wife's car. Took slight mod to the pad but they are very flat (low) and easy to use on trikes. I think you could find one in wrecking yard that shouldn't be pricey. maybe other GM's use same one, also. they don't take up much space in trunk, so wife takes it with. ride safe-tipper

Try ramps from the Wally World Auto Section. Use 'em all the time whether it be changing a bulb, greasing the shaft or changing oil. Drive on and back off easily.

Jack up and place jack stands on the axils, then jack the body up( tub), this should give you room to get the tire off. This works for me on my 2000 GW LeminTrike.

This may seen kinda dumb, but where do you place the jack to lift the body? I've had many a X rated moment swearing at Lehman when trying to take the rear tire(s) off and putting them back on. I placed jacked stands under the axel then let the swearing begin....
