Some on here have experience on the Harley Tri-Glide from 2009, some like me, only two years. (2011 model)<O
We all have done things to them for our own reasons, I would like this thread to discuss what you have done for what reason and if it worked for you or not. Would not like this thread used for someone to knock someone else's choices of modifications'.<O
Bumper: It came on mine as a dealer installed before they put on the floor to sale. I like it and recommend it as an option.<O
Retractable cord on tour box lid: It also was already on mine when I looked at it. I think I will make myself some sort of solid support for it soon as I carry a bag on it while traveling.<O
Luggage rack on Tour Box: I like these for looks and I use it allot. I also installed it with longer hardware and larger washers. Ran my bolts through lid organizer on lid inside to help hold it on.<O
Tour Box lid organizer: I used the old one from my 05 Ultra. I think I will remove and use the ones that go around inside edge of bottom section of tour box.<O></O>
Tour Box light kit: Turns large lights into stop / brake lights. Came from dealer that way and good option.<O
Head Pipes: I bought a stock pipe that had CAT cut out. I wrapped completely with good header pipe wrap. Lessened radiated heat from pipe and CAT on right side. Would go this route again myself. Allows me to run stock slip-ons that gives me a sound a little louder than stock and not too loud to interfere with enjoyment of long days in saddle.<O
Adjustable Back Rest for rider: This I like and use. Liked the old one on my Ultra better but it went with bike. Seemed to have more adjustment and wife liked the pocket in it.<O
Air Cleaner. Put a free flowing one on.<O
Crotch Cooler: Easy, good modification.<O
Tank Protector: Bra mounted at rear of tank<O
Tuner: Put a Power Vision on bike. As I am no tuner, took a while but I was able to get allot of improvement from motor. Seemed to wake it up in allot of areas. Also like the fact that I can mount the head on bike and use the gauge features. Also no need for PC Lap Top which I do not own.<O
Bagger Bar: Mounted one to use to hold a large older style GPS and the head for tuner. No room for that stuff on stock bars with reverse buttons.<O
Clarks very tall windshield: I prefer to look through shield. I find this shield being taller and wider than stock gives us both better wind and rain protection.
Overall, really like the scooter. Yes, different than a two wheeler but still like it.<O
At this time: Have mounted the Wards Parts Werks fans to bike. Have not been able to test in high heat yet as weather has been overcast and rain. Showing real promise.<O
