ha ha thats good! Mine is healthy,it's the other guys that is sick!
True to a point,,,,, If you aren't going to purchase liability, you must post a bond in place of the insurance. The bond has to be somewhere around $100,000.00. Not that much cash, but you will tie up that much in guarantee money, and if you are proved at fault, pay up to that amount, plus attorney fees. Insurance is much cheaper..
The company I worked for Union Pacific Railroad, is self insuring. Only cheaper because of the thousands of vehicles, & millions of other liabilities. I guess bottom line if you have enough money to buy the company,,,, why buy extended warranty.......
Idaho has insurance for uninsured, & under-insured insurance that you have to fill out forms & sign if you don't want to buy. Just like extended warranty.

That would be a great selling point. Think about it, MoCo gets to keep your money for the duration, and if they give your money back at the end because of no claims, they have just enjoyed a FREE loan.
But the few they would actually have to pay back would be dang few ! You wouldn't even be able to take your bike back to the dealer anywhere. There would be a reward out for the bike to be done under warranty. Might be nothing but to adjust your drive belt for you when you had it serviced. Or replaced a light bulb for ya. Nothing to it thanks we did it for free for ya.....

I have had many problems with the rear brake on my 2009 triglide some with HD design and also with mechanic from HD not knowing how to work on them.I do most of my own work unless it's covered by extended warranty.
I sent rotors out to Lendal Racing in Cali they crossed drilled them for me seems to kept rotors cool, also use their gold pads. I think they have a new rotor of their own design will be checking them out next.
hope this was helpful
As far as getting your money back on the extended warranty when you trade in, it's true...to a point. I traded in my Limited that had two years left on the warranty and figured that I should get about $900 back on the "unused" portion. WRONG!!! I got half that back and couldn't get an answer as to what happened to the rest. Figured at least I got something, so didn't complain too much. Maybe it had to do with them replacing three regulators on the bike in the first year when they had a batch of bad ones.

I would think if that happened in the first year, your new vehicle warranty should have covered it not the extended warranty.
I think I had one year on the new vehicle warranty and one year extended left when I traded it in. I honestly don't remember what I paid for that one year, but had a "feeling" I was going to go to a trike so didn't get the 3 year version. Yes, the regulators were all covered on the original warranty, and I had 11 months left on the extended. Figured they must prorate it in their favor...one day over, only 6 months back...or something like that.

Call HD and ask for a factory rep, they should be able to take care of your problems with bike and dealer.I did the 1k service ,they never changed primary or trans the plugs still had factory sealant on them. Since then I change my own fluids every 2500-3000 miles.I use there products and keep records and receipts (put mileage on them). As long as I do that they honored the 2 year warrantee and now into extended.Already got back what I spent on extended but really hate the $50 copay!!! Hope this helps.. ride safe

i wonder if your CAT is going bad.
I have a new 2013 harley trike and i got the 5 year warranty and that makes 7 years i pay for no repairs. I have road harleys for over 30 years and this will be the only time i payed for a extended warranty
right or wrong i just fill better about the trike
Oh yes there is a $50.oo charge each time i use the EX. Warranty after 2 years. That is a cheap repair for a starter or motor trans
and yes even pays for replacment tires if i have a flat
Big Red
I had a flat rear tire and the extended warranty covered the replacement of the tire and labor.
