just took my 2012 Tr Glide in to the dealer for the third time to have them check(repair)the problem with getting it into neutral.
Oh yeah, the parking brake quit working too. Sure did pay a lot of money to
"proudly" own a Harley Tri Glide.

The parking brake not working isn't a shocker, they use the same brake pads as you brake with which means as they wear down from day to day use, the parking brake will need to be adjusted to account for the wear. If you stop using a lot of rear brake then your going to need the parking brake adjusted often.

I agree that the parking brake should have been designed differently. It's a pain to adjust it the right way. The twist adjustment would work great it was set up like on a forklift or something.

The park brake will need adjustment every now and then, It's a very simple adjustment to do.
As far as finding neutral, On my 11T/G I put it in 1st and very lightly tap the heel shifter down,ThumbUp

got it back from the dealer on friday.
they finally got the neutral problem fixed.claimed it was clutch adjustment. Why did it take them three shots to get it right?
Everyone was right on with the parking brake.-adjustment.

Your lucky.Mine has been a problem getting into neutral since i owned it.Dealer says there is no way to adjust the clutch to fix that.I know-find a new dealer.

I would find another dealer. Mine was set up before I took delivery and has always been very easy to find nuetral. I like using my parking brake and adjust it myself, keeps brake pedal up where it should be.

I use Amsoil 75-140 in my last three Harleys. I also do all my own clutch adjustments per the maintenance manual. No problems with neutral. Last time at my dealer, which I refuse to go back to, they had the clutch adjustment so messed up the only way I could get it in neutral was to shut off the engine and play with the shift lever with my hand.

How many miles on your Tri-glide, and is it your first Harley. All 8 of mine were hard into neutral for the first 1000 miles or so, they need to break in. I removed the allan set screw on the parking break and replaced it with a thumb screw. Very simple to adjust. I'll bet you did just what a lot of us did with the trike. None of our other Harleys had a parking break. Chances are you rode it a time or two with the break on. Ride it, enjoy lit, you will get used to it. They are fun!!!
