I'm a retired Navy Seabee and I ride an GL1800 and GL1000. Seriously considering trikeing my 1800. So I'm here to learn from others... Thanks!

The 1800 makes a great trike! Although all of the kits are excellent choices, I'd recommend either the Roadsmith or Hannigan conversion mainly due to the longer wheelbase. I'm sure you'll be hard pressed to find anyone with either kit having anything negative to say about them. ThumbUp

Welcome frome the U. P of Michigan,and of the two I would think the 1800 would be the best for several reasons,since it has the newer technoligy you should have less trouble,the 1800 will of course have better horsepower with the trike kit . Ride safe.
