Both wheels are driven from the driveshaft through a differential. Just like a car. I am not positive but do believe they do not use posi traction or locking differentials on any trikes. Hope this helps.
The Lehman Trikes all have open differentials, just like a passenger car. The drive shaft turns and the differential gear set makes the rear axles turn. They do not have a live axle, posi-traction or limited slip. This allows differing wheel speeds in turns.

WHEN HELP IS OFFERED, A SIMPLE "THANK YOU" IS APPRECIATED.
It also allows the inside tire in a fast turn spin up when it comes off the ground. So I heard................
I want to thank all of you for helping to answer my question about the driveshaft.
