Stage 1 is great and will make the TG so much cooler and give her some pep.
Just make sure you get a good tune and not a HD flash.
Had the Stage 1, and the download on my 11 T/G Definitely a horsepower increase, and a little less heat.
Just to add the download and recalibration bring the red line up to 6200 rpm's
I'm with Wiz, Stage 1 and a good tune makes a huge difference in both heat and usable power.

Red Ultra Powered By Head-Quarters 120, Easy Clutch Pull By ClutchWIZ. 2012 GL1800 Hannigan. I've yet to ride a stock Harley which wasn't in need of a mechanical intervention.
What is stage one and can it be used on an 2005 Ultra/Lehman?
Explanation of the term Stage I:
In the tuning world it refers the stage 1 flash from HD. This flash, depending on which model and year bike, will increase fuel or enrichen the Air Fuel Ratio. Problem is... it won't be much help on most bikes. Going to stop here as you guys know how long winded I can be on this topic.
In the modification world it refers to the following changes:
Air Cleaner change
Header pipe replacement
Muffler change
Of course all these changes would be from stock to "race" components.
Stage II would be the above with cam change and head work.
Stage I Mods and Stage I flash are two completely different subjects yet coincide with the hope of making the bike run cooler and stronger. A daunting task that has eluded the best of the best and driven many totally Bonkers.
Thanks Mr. Wizard. My Trike is a 2005 Ultra/Lehman that is completely stock, I understand that this bike doesn't have the "02" sensors so I don't know what can be done to it.
Wizard please see my post "Dyno" I just posted.
Thanking you in advance,
Lakeman
On the road. Will check later today. 05 ECM's can be retrofitted with sensors. Or you can get a tune with 02 sniffers from a good dyno guy. Chat soon.
