Motor Trike rear end noise!!!

Hi everybody newbie to this forum. Great info. My wife rides an 05 V-Rod with a Motor Trike kit we had installed in 08. She loves it. All summer I have been trying to trace down a noise in the rear of the trike. Finally disassembled rear to find the races of both inner axle bearings have been spinning on the center section which is now trashed. Motor Trike is going to take care of repairs no charge. Except for shipping each way. I'll post some pics this weekend. Just thought I'd put this out there to maybe help someone else.....iowatreepepper

Wish you could have posted this a couple of months ago - would have saved us a lot of time "diagnosing" the problem on mine!

MT has a 3 yr. warrenty, should cover shipping also. I would question them on why you have to pay shipping, not your falt it has to be repaired.

bullet i believe he said his conversion was done in 08 that makes it 4 years old. sounds like mt is making it right except for shipping even though it is out of warrantee.

Good to hear that MT is making it right. Can you describe the noise in the rear end? I have a noise that is really alarming, and they are having trouble diagnosing it. I wonder if I have the same issue.
