Don't winterize, keep the trike in a garage with heater set on min. of 50 degrees and when it gets above 40 degrees and sunny, I'm ready to ride for couple of hours. Can't get my co-pilot out at the temp.
Those that have to store for the winter, I know you will look forward to spring as we all do.

+1 on jtilmon's use of a garage heater. I had a 45k heater installed this fall and the trickle charger hasn't had to work very hard to maintain a charge. A side benefit is that it keeps the car warm and this makes herself happy. She stopped complaining about the cost to install it!! - Russ

I put sta-bil in my tank but start and run it every three weeks anyway.
Third winter doing it and have had no problems. Do the same thing with my lawn tractors and weed trimmers. Little bit of effort but no repairs so far.

Winter prep? We don't need no stinkin' winter prep!

100-110 degree summers are the price we pay for those 45-55 degree winters.

Does anyone use a Bubble? I've used the Harley Bubbles on my two wheelers and never had a problem with condensation or dust during the winters. But I don't see a Harley bubble for the trike.

My dad and I store ours in his heated shop, the only thing we do there is either store the trikes or motorcycles and work on them.

Dead of winter in SoCal the daytime temps drop into the high 50's. Get the Carhartts cleaned, break out the Harley sweatshirts and it's ride time in January. We desert rats get between 6 and 10 inches of rain a year, so that is no problem either.

    Heh my friend,
You had said in a prior talk about installing a S&S 557 cam. I will be having the same cam installed in two weeks in my 2010 triglide. Could you write me back saying how she runs in the gears and all the good or bad about that cam please. I am also running True duals,Big Sucker ac,and TTS tuner that will be dynoed. thanks for any info.

Wash and wax, clean the trike up. Put it on the battery charger and take it off when the weather ain't bad. Going to change back tires this winter and all fluids. Probably Lindell brake pads also.

Test the heated gear to make sure all is working well. Put the bigger windshield on. Put the soft lowers on. Keep riding!
