News Flash: Harley walks over stallion.
Well if any members read outside their own forums I should get some interesting comments. I got the cast off my wrist and hand early Friday. So I started right off working on it to get it use to being used again.
The wife convinced me to take the trike down as is and go to the Texoma rally and poker run. After we got down with the poker run with our lousy hands we start walking thru the bike show.
Darra said I should enter the stallion in the show even if I didn’t have any cleaning supplies. S I caved in and entered it in the trike show as is.
I took second in the trike class to a Thoroughbred MotorSports kit FLH Harley trike. I took second in best of show to the same trike again. So Harley beat me out twice in the same day. We both had fun and that’s what matter.
Yes Harley Trikes join in with your comments. Lol at least there will be some activity in the forums.
But the story doesn’t end there. The wife convinced me to go to another ride and show 2.5 hours further away the next day. So You guess it she’s the boss. So we loaded up early the next morning. This time with cleaning supplies loaded up.
Things were looking better the wife had a royal straight going drawing a second king in the last stop so we off to the show area. We get signed in with all the stares going. We get in our assigned spot and start cleaning. Half way through the wife ask whose bright ideal was this any ways. I just look up at her and she said oh I guess that was me.
We are just about down when we look up what do we see the same Harley trike from yesterday. The wife said d@$mn I thought we would take this one. I told her we tried that is what really counts.
Lot more people at this show. And venders. A lot of wish I could visitors checking out what they can’t have.
Finally the announcement time with the results. The speaker starts in with the results saying that it was unusually very close this year in many categories. With a few upsets. Well the roles were reverse the Harley took second and I took first in the trikes.
I took people choice also. Then We were asked to be the grand marshal for the parade. That pushed the right buttons with the wife.
So now it is back in the garage in the air to continue more mods. Wait till they see the final results lol.
Hope you had a nice 3 days weekend. Mine was busy but it was fun.
. What a great way to get yourself back on the road again!!!! And you can tell Darra I said she is a very smart woman and that you should listen to her more often!
