Cornering Lights 1500se

My question, Is there a way to have the cornering lights on my 1996 se stay on all the time thus making them driving lights. Now they just come on when I use the turn signals. I live in CA and I beleave that the more lights you've got on the safer you are. thanks,

They can be wired to stay on all the time.I have done that to mine,but I have seen it on other bikes.RIDE SAFE

Yes it can be done, i had to add lights and all to me Interstate, with the SE you may only need the harness to hook it to the headlight circuit, Show chrome and others maken the kit. Super easy plus it really adds light up front with a triangle look

Yes, they can be wired to stay on,but, you may not like the pattern they produce. They are flood lights angled to the sides..to light up the turn.

There are aftermarket lights that look the same but are facing straight ahead and fit exactly in the same mount...I "think" they are around $100.00 from Wingstuff for the kit.

i changed the bulb receptacle so i could use a low wattage bulb,, either a LED or 1005 base (which i now use, u will have to solder or glue the base in)
the halogen get very hot and pulls a lot of juice,,, the 1005 provides good visibility but no diving light.
also needed is a separate relay and switch and fuses,, using battery power.
