Hello all, name is Mike and wife is Terry, we live on the Yavapai Apache Indian Reservation just south of Sedona, Arizona.

I know alot of you will be jealous as we ride year round, for that I am truely sorry.

Oh the wife is the Apache, I am just a long haired tattoo'd biker that spends his day as the Director of IT at the Tribes Casino.

Yeah, that riding year around--too bad some people have to live that way. ;)
From sunny FL--I know just how you feel.
Welcome aboard to you and your wife!

I hear a bunch of bragging going on!!!! LOL. I think it is so cool that you guys can ride year round! Do some extra riding for me when I can't!

Welcome Mike and Terry, from Mike and Pat
Pat and I was in Apache Junction, AZ. for the months of February and March, had a great time riding. We live in northern Wisconsin, and have had very little good weather since we got home. I wish you would have been a member of the forum when we were in Arizona, especially since you are looking at a Roadsmith kit. We could have ridden up and seen you and you could have checked out the Ultra/Roadsmith conversion. But then we may have come home BROKE. :groan::busted: I hope everything works out with the triking of your bike, and you can enjoy many years of triking.

Wow Saybel,
that is to bad, would have liked to meet you both. the Roadsmith was actually 3rd on my list for what ever reason.
CSC and Hannigan were impossible to work with, so i moved on to Roadsmith.
This trike stuff seems more like a crap shoot everyday, but I really have no choice if the wife is going to keep riding with me, and I really don't know how to ride without her anymore.
Thank You for the reply.
Mike

Mike/Terry welcome aboard. You will find that we like PICTURES. Post away please. I live in the Florida Keys ride all year also. Isn't it GREAT. Ted and MJ

Tmigala,
Thank you for the welcome!
We will be in your neck of the woods next May taking friends on the Run for the Wall, which will make my 3rd time doing that, then we are riding down and do the bay bridge and the the bridge to the KEYS on our way home.

Leaving the end of this month doing Yellowstone, Devils Tower, Rushmoore, Crazy Horse, and Colorado on way home.

Wife and I ride alot we like to travel on the bike don't think making it a trike is going to change that much!
Will retire next year around Nov. and do even more till we can't do it anymore at all.

That's OK, I like you and you would fit in well with the Kusso, all you need to do is weigh over 300 pounds and I will make you an adopted blood brother.:D

Hello,
In OREGON we ride like hell for six months and then head to southwest or Florida. By the way ,does anyone make or play the Native american flute on the reservation? The flute is good is good for singing the blues after the casino. Enjoy your trike, lots of fun and welcome to the forum.

Lunchbox1983,
Damn I thought I was going to get to be adopted there for a minute, but don't weigh 300lbs. lol
No I am 6'4" and only weigh 215lbs, guess I am just to damn small for your Tribe.
But I do have a very BIG EGO, and a bad attitude if that would compensate for the weight issue.

Mike, I know just how you feel.

I moved to a trike a few years ago for exactly the same reasons. My wife's knees and back just wouldn't allow her to get on and off without extreme pain even though she loved to ride.

I was so uncertain about the decision that I went from scratch and kept our dresser in the garage for a year...you know...just in case. But I rode it only once in that year and I gotta tell you, I could not be happier with the trike. Not only does it keep the wife happy, but I really enjoy riding it.

After knee replacement over the past winter, she could probably go back to a bike, but I wouldn't.

Good luck with the Roadsmith and I know you'll love it.

To All,

I want to thank everyone for your info and time, the choice has been made based on all of your input, it will be ROADSMITH!

The wife and I will make our last 2 wheeled adventure the end of this month.

We are going to Yellowstone, Devil's Tower, Rushmoore, Crazy Horse, then to Colorado Trail Ridge Pass, Wolf Creek Pass, Silverton, Uray, and back home to Camp Verde, Az.

Taking friends that have never been to any of these places.

Then will Roadsmith my bike when we get home and all our adventures from then on will be on 3 wheels.

Again the wife and I truely want to thank everyone for your warm welcome here and for sharing your experience and knowledge.

Mike and Terry

I will post pictures!
