This is 'Baby' my 1993 GL1500 with Voyager. I no longer have the bike as it had been sold. Trust me I wasn't very happy to sell the bike. Many people ask was it easy to let go, no it was not I was very heart broken and cried for days. Baby was a family member.

Well here is the done deal.
I added a couple of Amber LED lights to assist the directional lamps on the Stock trunk lighting.
Running / stop lights are on the voyager fenders.
I am starting to really enjoy the ride with the voyager kit.
I still have to figure out how to stop the voyager frame from hitting my mufflers on hard bumps.
No one else seems to have this problem....I will come up with a solution eventually..LOL
Here is my 'new' baby. Love the GL1500's. This is a 2000 SE with less than 20K's, (that's less than 12500mls for across the Pacific cousins). Don't often come by a find like this. I still have my '96 Aspencade with 70K's (43,500mls) and it still a dream to ride from one end of Oz to the other.
This is a top site learning about trikes and their owners.
I am seriously considering triking the SE with a RS. Decisions, decisions, decisions!!
Nice looking ride!! Yeah, the 1500's are really comfortable... Sometimes I regret selling ine when I traded up for the 1800 - should have kept it...
Les
Yes to the comfort level. I was tempted by the more 'sporty' feel of the 1800, but went back to what I know and respect. Besides, 'finding' the 2000 SE was a dream come true. Sold my 95 SE and regretted it every day since
Pick up the SE in South Australia 30th Dec then do a shake down run over a coupla thousand clicks to see if the Voyager is what I want. If not, then it's a Roadsmith conversion once I find a trusted and true blue installer in Oz.
Have a safe and memorable Christmas to you Les and all reading this.
Here's to an improved 2016 and many, many rides ahead and following!
Looking good. Built solid.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

My GL1500 with a Hobo conversion. The kit was installed the 24th of July. We have put on 1200 miles and are very pleased with the conversion. No wobbles or unsafe feelings with the kit. There are no ground clearance issues with this kit. Today, I removed the kit so I could remove the drive tire so i can have a car tire mounted on the drive wheel tomorrow. Removing the kit took about 30 minutes. Did I mention I really like the conversion

Hello everyone....
I just wanted to post my 1997 Honda GL 1500 W/ voyager kit installed.
We LOVE the outrigger kit and think it was a bargain,
purchased it ,USED from a Harley bagger owner.
I only had to purchase from Voyager the Honda installation brackets,
Thanks to all.
Well, not really a true Rat Rod but the Halloween black rat from the Dollar Store was something I just couldn't pass up. Made a great hitch ball cover.
LOL, I like the rat on the hitch !!!

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well-preserved body, but to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting...Holy Sh!t What a ride!
Pete Very nice job. Would you have pictures and plans that you would be willing to share. I want to build my own can't afford a factory set up. Thank You
