I put a leading link on mine and helped a lot. My steering is lighter and would be fine if i was back in my 30s lol. My plan is to use a marine power steering setup or a older chevy slave setup and just power it by adding pump to motor. They both have the built in valving. Lots of fabrication work but would work great for me with the way you moved your steering back from top tee allowing room for the hydraulics that could be hidden easily. Attachment 44187 and incorporate it into the steering link like they did on the older Chevy and fords

i would move the pivots on your to push the wheel further forward..

you should just about be able to sneeze and change lanes..

very easy...

pretty simple to try it as oppose to hydraulic assist

I got tired of walking around this thing so I'm going to finish it. I'm working on a Leading Link with Dual Wheels. It is together enough to try steering (not moving). More effort than I thought, can't wait to see what happens rolling. Checks out to 2 3/8" Trail and about 5 1/2" between contact patch centers on the tires.

My thinking is to start here and narrow the width to use a car wheel if this doesn't work out. I may reduce the Trail some more. This was a less expensive way to start, second wheel, $15 + shipping off eBay and I'll use the GW brakes and speedometer. Also using the GW rear shocks. Any input will be appreciated.

Started on this one, let's see how close I can get to the actual drawing, working on my frame drawings now, ordered the tires for attitude and bought the doner bike.This will NOT be the actual frame.

Not 'homebuilt' in the same sense as some of the others. Bought a used Motor Trike Trog kit that had been wrecked. Did the repairs and paint myself (first time for finished 'glass work) and converted my '02 Glide Classic. I also installed a mechanical reverse.

I built this TriMuter in 1984-87ish, I modified the original drawings and body to accept a 1600cc VW 4 speed, I learned a lot about fiber glassing and body shaping...Now I'm into Reverse Trikes, check out my build. TomyJ

Is that a jockey shifter I'm thinking I see? Is the Servicar rear rigid framed or Softail mounted?

It's a Softail and yes on the jockey shift.
