I must have had my head in the sand when I wrote a recent comment about guns. I was not aware that this Gun Enthusiast section was on Trike Talk when I responded to a post. I apologize if I offended anyone, it's all on me.
Don't take me wrong, I own guns, lots of guns.....long guns, short guns, guns with wheels, guns that hold lots of rounds, old guns, new guns, loud guns, quiet guns...get it. I have been trained in the proper use of guns. I have been trained in self defense. Heck, the Army even trained me how to be offensive. I would shoot someone to preserve my own life or those of my family members. I would not shoot to hurt anyone, after I pull the trigger, they wouldn't hurt anymore.
Now, if I sounded like a softie or anti-gun zealot, please read the above again. I am a peace loving, gun loving, U.S. Constitution loving American.

I'm also a gun owner, NRA instructor, served in the US Coast Guard (Search & Rescue and Port Security) and a firm believer in one's right to protect themselves, their family and their property!

Hey Jim..I, for one, am impressed that you have guns with wheels!..Not many of us have a cannon in our Man Rooms. But ya never know,,, down the road, we might need one. No offense taken Jim. Actually gun enthusiast forums are popular on a lot of bike sites. HDforums has a gun enthusiasts forum thats been popular for years. A lot of bike and trike owners tend to be gun enthusiasts too and since so many people park here and practically "live" on this site and being that most tend to read far more than they post, we try to keep things interesting and diverse enough to keep their attention. "Guns" discussion certainly seems to do that, especially lately....and it DOES get a little heated at times too!!

Guns are a part of life. Jim I would bet that most of the Shriners here at Medinah are owners also. Just had a very successful raffle for a long gun,, would love to own a cannon, mabey a battleship..now there are some longgggggg guns.

I Luv me some guns-heck I have one in almost every room in my house (even one in my garage). I like the long ones and even the short ones, plastic and metal as well. The thought of a cannon on wheels intrigues me-though I would be tempted to use it on a few of my neighbors! just sayin..............
