2019 Tri-Glide.......
I clean mine about once a month or if I take a extended ride, over, say 500 mi, will clean it to get the bugs off ...
I have 4 coats of Liquid Glass on my trike which protects the finish completely. Chrome also has the same coat .. You can do a search on Liquid Glass if you have never heard of
the product .. Use it on all my vehicles and it is awesome .. For deep cleaning use Simple Green and a soft cloth .. For detailing use Lemon Pledge which works as well as anything you get in a bike shop and is less costly ...

With regards to wash and dry I use a leaf blower from what my US brothers/sisters call Wally World, works aces.
For light clean ups I use a spray on wash and wax.
Looking in to lemon pledge. Thanks for the tip.

I clean after every ride after it cools down. Use Wizard Wash, does a great job. If I ride in the rain, different story. Thorough cleaning.

I keep mine clean but not a fanatic about it. I clean it weekly (in Louisiana we can ride at least a day or two every week. I use Honda Cleaner and S100 along with Pig Snot wax and Pig Snot polishing cloths. I polish the chrome and aluminum every 4 - 6 weeks.

the next owner can polish it, I'm gonna ride it.
I just wipe it down with a micro fiber towel and lemon pledge when the bugs get too thick on the windshield and it gets a soap and water bath maybe twice a year.
I live a mile down a gravel road and have no intentions of trying to keep it all polished up and unless you count the pledge, wax has never seen it.

hbrogan,
I clean our TG after everytime we take it out. I like to stay on top of the bugs so they are not as hard to remove them. Currently I am using Wizards Mist-N-Shine, which works great. Also I like to use Zephyre Spo-dee-o-dee spray. I think that works a little better than the Wizards. We also have a black trike and I'm ALWAYS on the quest for a wax/polish for the color black!! This past summer I bought a 6" random orbital buffer and that does a nice job. Also I'm trying a Turtle "Synthetic" Wax....haven't used it that much to get an opinion about it yet. What kinda wax do you use for your black Honda Trike??

I don't know what is meant by "deep cleaning". I use a micro towel and the "armor all" detail and wax spray. I do it when it gets too dusty or after rain when it gets raid drop spots with dust on it. Us it on all the chrome, including wheels, and the windshield. that is the full extent of my cleaning. Oh yeah, about three times a year I use a leather cleaner on the seat, etc. It most always looks bright, shiny, and catches the eye of everyone. Good enough for me.

Love to ride, Love this bike
I clean mine after every ride. I use a spray bottle of water and a towel after the bike has cooled down when out on the road. When I get back from a long ride I take my time and do a good cleaning/waxing whick includes the engine and at least once a year I clean good underneith, mainly to help check for leaks or any problems. I keep my ride clean but I have two other guys I ride with that every time they get off their bike they have their rags out cleaning. I do like a clean bike!
I also wipe my trike clean with a microfiber cloth, but I only use water. Does the pledge ever build up and become sticky? Also, I have a friend that takes her trike to the car wash, is this a recommended way to clean your trike?
Sweetie gets a thorough wash and wax in the spring and another in the fall wipe her down with HD wash & wax cleaner in between. Winter time if its warm enough to clean its warm enough to ride so I ride. Right now both the tri glide & the Victory are dirty as h--- and will probably stay that way till spring. No heat in the shed

I use the car wash from time to time. But I don't use the trigger for the high pressure except to indirectly hit the trike. Never direct on the motor or electronic components. Wheels and tires can take it though.
I wash mine after every ride, and every time it rains, I sit in my garage and give her a total wax job.....MY bike will never see the light of day unless "she's clean"

I usually clean, detail, wax after each ride. Hate to leave it dirty.
Often, since I know I'll be doing it again after my next ride, I use Meguires Cleaner Wax or detailer as it don't have to last but so long. Sometimes, I use Liquid Glass just because it's easy to put on / take off or buff, it lasts and lasts but it ain't cheap (but I ran up on a good case price a couple years ago, so I have 17 or 18 pints on hand now).
The front wheel I polish as needed as it's not CCed. The rears get same wax, etc as bike as they are coated.
I had neglected to do it last couple years as I didn't ride either, but I got it done a couple weeks ago.
