We originally went up to look at it at General RV near Detroit (Wixom) on a Saturday. We made the deal and set pick-up for the next Saturday. Reenie was unable to go with me to pick it up, so I rode the Trike 220 miles back up there, drove it right up into the back, tied it down and drove the Fun Mover back home. It was a long day, considering the 4 hour wait I had while they finished up the paperwork, counted the cash 5 times, and had the mechanic go over everything with me a couple times. The 2009 model I have, has a tapered floor in the back 8" long that prevents the trike from bottoming out at the crest. Without using the ramps to raize the main ramp, my trike does scrape the pipes a bit coming in and out, and the ramps, as stated above, are a pain to use, so I usually just load and unload in the grass. Putting a hinged approach ramp on the main ramp is probably the best solution tho. I was also wanting to add some hinged legs to the outside of the ramp that would fold down and hold the ramp level for a back porch. With the temperature hovering in the single digits, work on the camper is gonna have to go to the back burner for a while, LOL.

Ultra, that's great ... really happy for you ... the Funmover was our first RV, after motorcycle tenting, then a bunkhouse behind the GW, that the Funmover, then went to a trike and like I said would bottom out ... then went to a class A and on our second class A now ... when we take one of the trikes we have a trailer that we use ... but with the funmover we were able to put the bikes in there and tow a jeep, it was the best of both worlds. You made a wise choice.

LOL... I also have a 14' V-nose enclosed tag trailer that I use only occasionally, and I was thinking of selling it last summer, but that ended when Reenie decided she liked riding my trike so much, that I'm now converting her FLSTN into a trike, so we'll need the trailer to pull behind the Fun Mover to have both trikes with us. So... now we'll be a bit over 45' long going down the hi-way.

A little story on my wife Reenie. She first got her 2 wheel license 30 years ago, and we have always had two or more bikes in the garage. (as many as 6 at one time) Anyway, as we approached AARP status, she occasionally wanted to ride two up on whatever bagger I had at the time. (Poker runs and such) I'll be honest, with my hips and knees taking the beating they have over the last 62 years, it was sometimes a bit worrisome being two up on a dresser, which is why I converted mine to a trike. Anyway, she rode it once or twice, and said 'no thanks' as she went back to her Softail. Last summer, we attended the TRI trike rally in Branson, and decided to ride the trike back to Indiana rather than load it and her bike back into the toyhauler. She started out on it and rode the first 250 miles or so, following Trike Gypsy on her GW trike. At a gas stop, I immediately noticed her ear to ear grin, as she explained to me how great it was to have the cruise control, stereo, cig lighter, etc. as well as the ease of riding the thing, and being actually able to enjoy the scenery a bit more than on two wheels. At that point, converting her bike to a trike moved up on the to-do list. All I have been able to do on it thus far is gather parts, but it is shaping up to be very unique and different.

AND....... if Dave doesn't have Reenie's trike finished by then, she might show up without him. I suspect she knows how to load his trike and drive that cool toy hauler just fine! LOL!!!! :yay:

Thats a nice toy you have there you will sure have fun with that, my toys...well you just got to have them...does frighten the folks here in the UK when im rolling along.....first one is my black toy hauler the 2nd is my 5th wheel, well just sold that but do love my Dodge shes a Hemi well do i say more.....
