I was just wondering just how many of you have that one tune that makes you maybe twist the throttle a little more than normal.
I have a few but would like to know yours.
The one i can think of is Twilight Zone by Golden Earring.

There are so many songs for me that it would take hours for me to list them all. Short list: any Beach Boys/Jan & Dean/Ripcords/Ronnie & the Daytonas/Davie Alen and the Arrows(Blues Theme) or any hot rod/surfing group from the 60's. CCR, Dave Edmunds, Johnny Cash, The Tractors plus tons more.

There are so many songs that fit that description. At present,the first song that comes to my mind is;

HUG MY RADIATOR by Dion.

You are absolutely correct. What a great song. Also, the beginning of All I Need Is A Miracle by Mike and the Mechanics. When that tune starts the speedometer seems to increase by at least 30 MPH

I was a DJ on radio and then mobile in times past, and I still am called to MC and play music for a few motorcycle related events a year. I searched and found many motorcycle related songs, and I burned 2 CDs I often use at events. One of my favorites on either disc is "Motorcycle Rider" by the Icicle Works. Not the best composed and sung song in the world, but I like it.

The only song I have found that has trikes in it is Bob Sega's "Fire Lake" (Who's gonna ride that chrome three wheeler. Who's gonna make that first mistake. Who wants to wear those gypsy leathers, All the way to fire lake)

The songs that currently gets me going at the beginning of a ride is either Blue Man Group's version of Donna Summer's "I Feel Love", or the Outlaws "Green Grass and High Tides."

"Born to Be Wild" by Steppenwolf is a great one, but how about "Magic Carpet Ride" also by Steppenwolf. A lot of the 60's and 70's stuff just seems to work for me. Only problem right now is that it is 9 deg. out and snowing. Guess I will have to wait a few more days.
